Originally built in the 1870s, the Langhorne Garden Hotel is just metres from the Leas. The mile-long promenade offers views of Folkestone on one side and superb sea views of the English Channel on the other. On a clear day, you can see France.

Just 10 minutes’ drive from Folkestone’s Channel Tunnel terminal and close to the ferry port at Dover, the hotel makes a convenient base for a day trip to France or as a stopover on the journey into Europe.

The hotel is also a good base from which to explore Kent, known as the Garden of England.

The Lighthouse Inn is only 5 miles from the Channel tunnel and 3 miles from the Port of Dover, ideal for an overnight stay on route to or from France or simply for a relaxing break. A large private car park is available for our guests.

Nearby Dover Castle and the Historic City of Canterbury with its stunning cathedral both make for great days out, time permitting. All rooms are en suite, with thermostatic central heating, double glazed and equipped with the following: tea & coffee making facilities, colour Teletext TV with remote control, alarm clock-radio, hairdryer, extra blankets.

The Skuba Bar, with its sun terrace and garden overlooking the sea, is perfect for socialising or a quiet drink, whilst savouring the sea views.

The Skuba Grill offers its renowned menu in the bar throughout the day and in the restaurant during the evenings.

Breakfast is continental-style with a wide variety of cereals, cheeses, yoghurts, croissants and fruit.

Being a smaller hotel, there is no dedicated reception. Guests are asked to check-in at the bar, where staff will guide you to your room, taking note of any special requirements.

The cottage at The Ship Inn is south facing and located on the seafront, with 2 of the rooms offering outstanding sea views – on a clear day, the views of France are particularly special.

Only a 5-minute drive from the Channel Tunnel and 16 minutes from the port of Dover, The Ship Inn is known for the quality and range of real ales, as well as its home cooked food. It has been run by the same licensee for the past 24 years.
The Ship Inn is in the centre of the village of Sandgate, approximately 1.6 km (one mile) west of Folkestone on the A259. The village has a strong community feel, which you will experience as soon as you walk in. Styled as a nice pub, for nice people, it also has an extensive wine list which would appeal to even the greatest wine buff.

On a clear night, you can see the lights of France from across the English Channel, and the rolling green hills of the South Downs.

Use the hotel as your base to explore the Kent countryside or even as a starting point for a visit to France.
Of the Southcliff's 75 comfortable en suite rooms, half offer idyllic sea views, some with balconies. All areas within the hotel are accessible by lifts or stairs.

On the Kent coast, the Windsor is within walking distance of the refurbished Bandstand and Amphitheatre. Both feature live events within the new Lower Leas Coastal Park, where there is also an adventure playground and pebble beach.

Children are welcome at the Windsor Hotel, and can enter the bar area if with an adult. Pets can also be accommodated, free of charge. Each en suite room has a 4-channel TV and tea/coffee.
Please note that there are a few steps up to the front door of the hotel. Due to the 'Health and Safety' rules, the building cannot use an entrance ramp.
